Dr. Stephen L. Sala, DMD, FAGD attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his D.M.D. degree in 2011. He then chose to pursue an additional year of formal training and completed a general practice residency program at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland, OH.

Dear Patients and Friends,
I am celebrating 42 years of private practice as I quickly approach my 67th birthday. Overall of these 42 years, I have never taken my birthday “off.” However, this year I am.
I am writing you this letter to inform you that August 21, 2024 will be my final day in practice. I am retiring! The many relationships I have built, the friends I have made, and the patients that I have encountered in these 42 years has been a true blessing to me. I am so grateful for the trust and confidence that you have placed in me over these years. As an additional blessing, I have come to know your families and friends and because of this, my career has been so very rewarding!
During the past 9 years many of you have gotten to know Dr. Stephen Sala as not only a very competent dentist, but as a very caring person. He has been a wonderful mentee and is FULLY equipped to take over the reigns of this wonderful practice that we have shared for years. The team that you have come to know is all remaining to continue a very smooth transition in care.
I hope to remain close to the practice to ensure a smooth transition for the next few months, but will NOT be treating any patients after August 21, 2024.
I know that Dr. Steve and our wonderful team will continue to meet or exceed your expectations well into the future.
